I've been meaning to do this for a while and I actually promised people it'd be done, so here it is finally. I am amazed that I still think (as she is well aware) that Analeasa is "the prettiest girl on the planet." It is more than just my own ballad to her, I really do catch myself just ogling at her. I am always amazed at just how beautiful she is. And, of course the camera never does justice to what God gave her.
On a similar note, I continue to be awed at her abilities in spite of her three years as a passenger on our constant shipwreck trying to get this house done.
Right now her favorite things are attempting to dance, doing ballet, singing Analeasa originals that actually make more sense than some of what passes for music on the radio nowadays, and swimming in the "pool" (water is always fascinating to her, even if it is only a four ft by 6 inch kiddie thing), which we don't really do much anymore due to the climbing temps and humidity and increasing mosquitos. Oh, and she recently added to her charm by learning only 1 year after mastering the one eyed wink not only how to wink with the other eye, but how to "go back and forth" as she told me today. Oh, and she can roll her tongue, too. Wow, it's only a number of days before she's on the big screen with all this hidden talent just waiting to be discovered. Really though, if she wasn't so small (she's cursed with my short fingers) and we weren't so broke from this house, she'd already be taking piano lessons. She's ready to take on the world.
I always wonder if this is how all mother's feel about their child, but I know it's not. I talk to them all the time. They sometimes think their child can do nothing right. What a bummer for the kid. I know I'm biased because she's mine, but I do sometimes ask people, "Is it just me, or is she really that adorable?"
