Better than the Real Think - fresh & tasty

Chattanooga Kahlua Recipe

Bring to a boil in a sauce pan:
One quart Greyfriar's Coffee (French Press preferrable, Fresh Roasted Beans available from www.RareCoffee.com)
2.5 Cups Sugar

Reduce heat. Simmer 3 hours or til syrupy (Caution, if you go too far, you'll have a saucepan full of coffee-candy, which isn't bad, unless you were trying to make Kaluah, then that's bad.) stirring occasionally. Let cool to room temperature.

Add:
1 Tablespoon pure vanilla extract
2.5 cups Vodka, or to your tastes (about 600mL)

Mix well, drink with friends.

I was robbed. It was really my husband. I don't even know what a blog is called...yet. So anything that was funny--don't think for a minute that it was me. From now on, ehem, Levi, we WILL be revealing our true identities. They will no longer be changed to protect the assailant.

I'm sure Josiah will be more than happy to give you two separate identities.

Do you brew the coffee first?

Ok, you gots to blog more. Not less. More! I've found it to be a pretty decent creative outlet. Maybe you will too. But no worries, I'm sure I will blog enough for the both of us.

love to all, Uncle Jeep
